Writing about all the big & little things

Spring is springing

Do you know how I know it’s spring?

No, not by the green grass peeking through.  Or how it’s lighter later.  Or how the sunshine is actually warm on my back through the window as I’m teaching.  Or how I can hear the birds chirping happily as we walk to the bus in the morning.

Nope.

I know it’s truly spring because the bugs are back.  Yup.  We have ants and ladybug (or perhaps ladybug imposters!) again.  I dug out our handy box of bug killer products and have gone to work trying to keep them at bay.

Happy Spring Everyone!  😉

I know. We had some bees buzzing around the day we loaded the trailer. Isn’t it warm today? Whew!

I miss that about the north. Our bugs are around year long, just in different types and energy levels!

But what you have that we don’t is that earthy aroma outside all year round. Aside from the cold, obviously, I miss that in the winter and am so excited when I begin to go outside and smell the earth and other living smells.
