Vacation Started!

I  had grand plans of posting a long drawn out recap of all the things I didn’t have time to write about this past week, and then here I am at 10:00 and no post written.  My first day of vacation was excellent, but I think I might have tried to do a little too much the first half of the day, and then I crashed for a bit and my day just zipped by.  I’ll do a nice long post tomorrow.  I promise.  🙂

Slim-in-6 Update:  Week three done!

~~Day off exercising?  Yes, 2 days off  🙁   (Monday & Sunday)

~~ Bad day? Yes, 1 day (Sunday, my recital day, I didn’t eat well at all.  I was nervous beforehand so I ate a little and then I was happy after it was all done so I had a bit of cake… haha… whoops!)

~~ Biggest Achievement of the week:  my biggest achievement was being able to buy a size medium shirt again!

Favorite new food/snack: sugar free pudding with cool whip. Yummmmmm.

~~ Thoughts?  I’m officially half way through my program.  I must say I’m slightly disappointed with the progress thus far, but I know I’m gaining muscle (I can see it, especially in my arms).  I’m excited for this week of vacation b/c I plan on doing my workout and then something active later in the day as well to really help things along.  I’m also toying with the idea of starting the couch to 5K program with Kristen…….. since I’m going to participate in a triathlon in July….. the running part….. hmmmm…. more thoughts on this later though.  For now, off to bed!

    You look good in the pictures. You are doing fine. Don’t do what I did and waste half your life thinking you are fat. Sure you can lose a little more, but remember you are not at an unattractive weight now, so don’t be too hard on yourself day after day!

    The Couch to 5k program is how I became a runner. I really recommend it. It progresses slow and steady. You can do it!
