At 21 months, Chloe has a few favorite things she likes to say (a lot):
“Go Park?”
“It Okay”
“School Bus?” (when she hears a loud car)
“Mama… mama… mama… mama… mama… mama?”
“Dende Hush”
“Daddy Go?”
“Working House” (when she hears someone working outside–due to my saying “They’re working on the house” when they were endlessly residing…”
“Eat Table”
When I ask her what she wants to eat, her favorite foods right now are, “Grapes!” or “Pancakes!”
She’ll also hum a little tune, almost on the same exact pitches every time.
But finally, her favorite thing to say is:
“Watch Kitty?” or “Watch Puppies?”
That means she wants to watch her movie, Milo & Otis. I was talking to Tim a couple months ago about how I remembered that movie from my childhood and thought it was so cute. I also thought Chloe would really like it b/c it only has animals in it and she’s very into animals right now. Especially kitties and puppies. So we went looking for it and happened to run across it in a clearance bin at Best Buy. I think it was $5. She absolutely adores the movie. It’s a bit long to watch all at one time, but she’ll sit and watch for quite a while. She’ll even shout out the different animals that she sees coming and going.
In other news, I’m SUPER EXCITED to see Kylene & Justin tomorrow evening. I’m also a little stressed out b/c I need to pack for Chloe and myself for the next 2-3 days and I haven’t even started… I guess that will be my project for tomorrow! 🙂
I bought that movie for Ethan a few months ago. I had never watched it before, but I thought the kids would like it. They did! I was a bit shocked to discover that they actually showed the babies being born. I didn’t realize that until after my children had seen it several times. They didn’t seem traumatized by it though so I guess it’s all good 🙂
Yeah, I was a bit surprised by that too… I didn’t remember that from when I was a kid. I guess it didn’t traumatize me either. 🙂
