This is my final post on my adventure. This is all the random stuff that didn’t fit in the last two posts, but that I found delightful. I’m sure many people think I’m crazy for taking pictures of everything, but I just love having the memories. I figure I can store oodles of digital photos a lot easier than I can store oodles of stuff, especially in a small house. 😉
I’ll talk about it and then show the picture…
This was a truck we passed on the expressway. I found it particularly amusing since Kylene’s new last name is Barnett. So at one point Chloe and I had Barnett in front and behind us! 🙂
These are color changing bowls that we had when we were kids. When they get hot they change to the lighter color. I remember thinking they were the coolest thing ever. And I still think they’re cool. My Aunt gave me a set while we were there so now I can use them with Chloe!
This is my Grandma’s house. As a kid you don’t really notice what the house looks like, but as an adult I now truly appreciate what a charming house it really is. I especially like the porch with the gingerbreading.
My Grandma has a small organ in her dining room. Chloe was enamored with it but was disappointed when she finally got to play it and realized there wasn’t any sound. She still had fun plunking around on the keys.
Grandma gave Chloe this adorable pizza toy. It looks like a pizza box then unzips and then has “slices” of pizza with little velcro toppings you can put on the slices. It’s adorable. Grandma saw it and remembered that Tim used to work at Pizza Hut–so it was perfect!
When we arrived the towels had been labeled so there wasn’t any confusion. I made a mental note to do this for my guests someday. 🙂
This was a turtle footstool in my Grandma’s living room. It was the perfect size for Chloe.
More fun at the park! I love that Justin looks pretty much stuck–it wasn’t very slippery.
This is a toy car my parents have at their house. I’m sure it will be the most requested toy whenever we go to visit.
And finally, a silly picture of Sherlock, my Mom’s boxer. She let him lick out the empty yogurt container. I just love how his whole snout could fit in the container.
Your Grandma’s house is very cute. And so is that pizza toy.
