Writing about all the big & little things

Hot and Muggy. Very Muggy.

Right now it says the temperature reads 90 degrees, but it actually feels like 105 degrees.Correction… now it’s 92 and feels like 107.

Yup.

107.

That’s insanely hot for Minnesota.  And the dew point is 79.  Tim told me that the tropical dew point is around 60… making it more gross here than if we lived in the tropics!

Tim came home early b/c of the severe weather that hit us a little earlier and is schedule to hit us again later this afternoon.  And it’s a good thing he’s home–it’s just TOO hot to be working in such thick weather.  Ugh.  It’s so squelching that after walking outside it actually feels cold in the house when I walk back inside.  🙂

Crazy.

weather like this makes me miss Vegas…I love the heat…but the humidity here in good ol’ MN makes me sick. I miss the heat…

If it’s okay with you, I’m going to sit over here and laugh a little bit, okay? Me with my 10:15 at night 81* and 91% humidity.

Hee, hee, hee, hee, hee, hee, hee!!! 😀

It was good Tim came home, though. I understand heat stroke now in ways that I didn’t understand it before. In ways like, wow, my heart is beating really fast and I’m feeling kind of cold even though I’m standing out in the middle of the lawn. Maybe I should go get some water and sit down for a while….

In other news, the people banging our door down this morning called the police ON THEMSELVES, apparently thinking that the police would be on the side of the crazies trying to break into the house of a former employee. The police laughed at them. And told them to get the heck off of our lawn. I really like our police now. 🙂
