Chloe has been slowly learning how to “help” with things around the house. I figure you should tap that energy for good at an early age. Now granted, more often than not, I have to re-do what she just did, but at least she’s learning how to do useful things around the house. And someday she’ll be able to do them all on her own. Maybe not anytime soon… but someday. 🙂
The other day she was “sweeping” the floors for me, which I’m pretty sure made everything messier than when she started, but she seemed to genuinely enjoy it, so I let her sweep as long as she wanted. Her new thing is helping feed Dende. Usually the food will end up all over the kitchen floor en-route to his dish, but she’s starting to get better…
That’s my motto too. Make it fun when their young. Good job!
