Today has been a nice day.  See, I’m even writing my post early in the day–that’s a true sign that things are going well.  🙂

Chloe and I moseyed around the house/yard this morning doing all sorts of things:  watering flowers, weeding, playing in the hammock, admiring the neighbors’ flowers, building block towers, etc.  Today is the first day I finally feel truly relaxed again.  I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the last few weeks, but I’ve been traveling a bit and I needed a few days to just wind down and stay put.  We even went for an 11 mile bike ride around town and out to a park.  It was great fun (although I have to figure out what’s up with the gear shifting on my bike… hmmm… mental note to talk to Jeremy…) however, I’m pretty sure my bum will be sore tomorrow.  🙂

When I was gone on Saturday evening, Tim took Chloe to target and he bought her a tiny Thomas the Train toy (okay, okay, I know that it’s technically called, “Thomas the Tank Engine” but it’s just so much easier to say “Thomas the Train” so please excuse my incorrectness…)..  Anyway, apparently she ADORES the toy.  She liked it so much that when they got home from the store and he let her out of the truck, she got down on all fours and pushed the tiny train all the way across the driveway, up the stairs and into the house.  Now that’s impressive.  When I got home, I was surprised at how small it really is–but she doesn’t seem to care at all!
