Xavi & Chloe

Yesterday the Chilson’s came down for a visit.  It’s been far too long since I’ve seen them–Xavi is so much bigger and starting to do so much!  It’s exciting to watch him learn new things.  He is quite proficient at the army crawl, so he spent the evening scooting all around (usually after Chloe to take away whatever toy she was playing with, hehe).  It was a good exercise for Chloe to learn how to share with a baby, and also how to play gently.  When it was time for them to leave, Chloe was quite distraught, and exclaimed that she really wanted Xavi to come again, which I thought was sweet.

Just before they left Shannon put Xavi in his jammies and Chloe thought it would be fun to have a “jammie party” so she go into hers as well.  I thought it would be cute to remember their first “jammie party” so I took a few pictures…

I realized yesterday that our kids are going to be roughly the same distance apart.  Chloe is 1 1/2 years old than Xavi and Xavi will be just shy of 1 1/2  years older than our baby #2.  Well, assuming baby #2 decides to come out in the  middle of July… but you get the idea.

It was so wonderful to be able to hang out with Shannon again– we made our usual coffee run, which actually didn’t even contain coffee but rather Hot Apple Blasts (yummmmmm).  And we were able to catch up while the guys enjoyed a little “guy time” (a.k.a. sitting in front of the t.v.)  🙂

All in all, a great day.
