Nope. It’s more like the storm before the bigger storm. Today has been a whirlwind kind of day…
— up way too late last night getting things packed up to take to the U of M
— discovered this morning that I don’t have Microsoft Publisher on my computer anymore, so my “quick print off a new sign for the front doors for contest” turned into a major ordeal and eventually ended in me having to drive out to the MMTA office so they could print it. And then it didn’t work there either… grr… it’s still a work in progress.
— trying to get out the door in a hurry and Chloe couldn’t get to the bathroom in time and had a huge accident
— already running late and then there is a car fire on 35W
— a judge for tomorrow called and said she’s sick and can’t do it. Gah!
— calling to find a new judge (on very short notice)
— judge found
— volunteers calling to say their sick too, and can’t be there this weekend. Gah!
— trip to the U of M to hang signs and test more pianos I couldn’t get to last week.
— now I’m home to teach for the evening.
But you know what makes it all a little more bearable? A nice big caramel cooler from Caribou coffee. 🙂 Mmmmmmmm. And a wonderful husband who cleaned up the house while I was gone this morning. Oh and an adorable daughter with delightfully curly hair. Yup, those things make it all better.
I’m glad you have all those things to make it better, because it sounds like a horrendous day. I’m praying for you today. That you have energy to make it through the rest of the day.
Much love,
Mom
