Today I’ve been thinking of my brother and sister-in-law a lot. I’m not sure why they’re on my mind… But they’ve had a whirlwind month with lots of transitions. They moved out of their house in Georgia and moved to Pennsylvania this week/ she started her new job training last week / as far as I know he’s still looking for a job there and they had to give away their 3 (or was it 4?) cats and a dog before they made the big move.
I found this picture posted by a friend of theirs and I just couldn’t resist stealing sharing it with all of you. They’re all packed into the moving truck and just about ready to go (I would assume).
Anyway, I think it’s adorable.
In other news I had a delightful conversation with my sister today. She’s on a new eating plan that basically lets her only eat fruits and veggies (minus the really starchy ones) and a little bit of protein plus a few other things that I can’t remember right now. It’s not vegetarian but it’s definitely restrictive. Anyway we’ve had some wonderful conversations about new foods she’s been trying and liking (or not! a.k.a. eggplant). I’ve been inspired to try new veggies and discovered that I love her way of cooking zucchini with sauteed onions. I still need to try spaghetti squash… I’ll have to take a picture next time I make it. 🙂
It makes me sad to see that neighborhood and know that I may never see it again (if our house sells like we hope it will).
