And that means getting the baby’s “room” started.
So, we decided that it was time to get Tim a real dresser. You know, one that doesn’t have nails sticking out of it, and actually slides in and out, and doesn’t have crooked drawers… yeah. We bought his dresser at a garage sale for dirt cheap when we first got married and it was already in pretty bad shape–and that was almost 8 years ago now! So, it’s definitely served us well, but it was time to move on. And since we need more room in the closet *ahem* I mean baby’s room, we decided to move Tim’s dresser out into our bedroom for now. After baby Friesen is old enough to sleep through the night and is on a consistent sleep schedule, we’ll work on transitioning him into Chloe’s room. That should be fun.
Here it is: the new dresser. Isn’t it so pretty? I must admit I’m a bit jealous… 🙂 At least I get to admire it every morning when I wake up!
That does look sharp! I thought you were going to put it in the other corner by the door?…
we were.. but then it looked HUGE there, and the floor is super slanted… 🙂
Very nice! Dad is still using the dresser he had as a kid, but it is in good shape, so why change? I’ve been through quite a few awful ones. The one I have now is nice enough, but technically it is Nathan and Amy’s. But I bought some sort of antique ones with mirrors on the back for the house in Chetek when we were going to rent it furnished. I think I’m going to use them (yes, both of them, because they are small!) when we move across the street.
