OOOhhh we have some clematis planted this year…I hope it looks as healthy as your neighbors!!! Makes me just a little excited!!

Those are gorgeous! Maybe I should get some. You have some, too, don’t you? Are they hardy? Do you have any idea how many plants she has?

The picture above is just one clematis plant blooming. But take note: they get more and more full each year, so the first year they are kind of piddly. I think this is the 4th or 5th year since hers was planted. Mine are coming up wonderfully and really filling out but not blooming yet. I’ll take a picture when they start blooming and then compare it to last year and the year before. As far as hardy… I guess they pretty hardy. The only one that doesn’t seem to want to come back is the one we have planted in the pot on our patio. I think the pot gets too cold during the winter…
