Today Chloe and I went to David’s Bridal to have her try on a few more flower girl dresses (with the Bride and her Mom). She was thrilled beyond words. It took a little longer to get set up than we thought because the bride was still in her fitting appointment, and Chloe was just chomping at the bit, but she made it (with only a couple firm warnings to sit still and be quiet). When it was finally her turn she was on cloud nine. She would come bursting out of the dressing room in and prance happily to the pedestal and twirl around, stopping, of course, to pose for a picture. She was definitely loving the lime-light…
They finally narrowed it down to two dresses and they let me make the final choice (I suppose since I was paying for it hehe) and this is the winner:
It will actually be in “ivory” which is a perfect match to her new clip clop shoes she got earlier this summer since the Bride’s dress is slightly ivory instead of pure white. It’s wonderfully flowy and fun. Chloe had a delightful time twirling around in it. And it’s just a tiny bit big so it should fit her for a good year or two if we’re lucky. 🙂 It’s a little hard to see in the picture, but it has fun details on it… I’ll have to take a better picture when we pick it up later. Pictures don’t always turn out the best when I take them on my phone…
Anyway, I’m glad that we have that taken care of before the baby arrives. Now we just have to wait for it to come in!
