Writing about all the big & little things

Oh, yeah… I’m 9 months pregnant.

Sometimes I forget that I’m so far along in my pregnancy.  I know that sounds silly since I’m huge and I’m counting down the weeks till my due date (only 3 weeks left!!!), but it’s true.

So today when I decided to wash and deep clean my car with Chloe, I forgot how much my back could handle.  I felt fine the whole time I was doing it (it took about 1 1/2 hours to do it all) but then I felt it later.  We sat down to have a picnic lunch and after sitting still for 20 min. I got up to walk inside and I was shocked at how badly it hurt.  But let me tell you folks, my car looks AWESOME!!! 🙂

But it did get me motivated to finally get moving on finding a chiropractor that matches all of my requirements (specializes in pregnancy, is covered in our insurance network, is recommended by someone I trust, and is nearby).  And I’m pleased to say that I’ve finally found one.   They are located very close, are covered by our insurance, and were recommended by my midwife.  I called today and they would have been able to fit me in right away tomorrow morning,  but I have worship team practice, so they are able to get me in Monday afternoon.  I’m thrilled.

I had another prenatal visit this morning and this time one of my piano families (the Klecker’s) volunteered to take Chloe so I could go alone.  I love my daughter dearly, but it was wonderful to just go and not have to answer unending questions.  She said everything looks pretty much the same as last week, so at this point I don’t think this little fella will be coming early.  And Chloe had the time of her life at the Klecker’s house–they have 3 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, a play house and a jungle gym/playset.  Needless to say she wasn’t too keen on leaving.  🙂

Tomorrow Tim is working again (this time for Colonial Stone and not a side job) so I have grand plans of working on my flower garden, assuming my back cooperates with me.
