Today we’re celebrating our 8th Anniversary. 8 Years ago now we were probably at the reception enjoying a variety of delicious desserts and laughing at our Fountain of Dew. 🙂
So much has happened in 8 years: houses, job changes, graduations, kids, losing loved ones… I am reminded on days like today how incredibly blessed I am to have a man who will support me through anything and who I can rely on with complete confidence. Life is good.
Now, I just want to make it through today without having the baby! 🙂
I know it’s selfish, but I don’t want to have to share our Anniversary with anyone else. Of course, we’ll see if God has other plans… 😉
Happy Anniversary!
You were such a beautiful bride and handsome groom! That was a wonderful day – my first child getting married. And to a man only God could have chosen for her.
I was also hoping you wouldn’t have your baby today. But if you had it tomorrow, Tim would have no excuse for ever forgetting your anniversary, because it would be the day before Junior’s birthday. (That is assuming he remembers Junior’s birthday when he is turning 33).
Still, it won’t be long now. (How long have I been saying this??)
Love,
Mom
LOL you guys looked so young….ROFL 🙂 Congrats on 8 years!!! Love you!
Chris, there is no way I can forget our anniversary. Facebook reminds me of it 2 weeks in advance 😀
I am STILL SO SORRY that I dropped the ring in the lobby!!!!! And for tripping and stepping on your train just after we’d done pictures outside (so glad that brushed off). But mostly for dropping the ring! And I’m so glad Tim’s mom was fantastic at sneaking it back up to us. 😀
Love you! Hope your day was great!!
LOL–Kylene, I don’t even remember you stepping on my train! And I think the ring thing is a hoot now–what is life without awesome memories like that!?! 🙂
