Today was the day that Chloe has been dreaming and talking about all summer long.
Today was her debut as a flower girl.
She finally got to put on that adorable white dress and fancy “clip clop” shoes and carry her basket of petals down the aisle. And she did great. Apparently Tim said she was a little wild beforehand, but I was at the piano so I couldn’t see… all I know is that she made it down the aisle and even remembered to throw her petals. 🙂
We were able to stay for a bit of the reception (which had really yummy food!) but had to take off before they cut the cake and set up for the dance. Which actually worked out fine since Chloe was starting down the road to “meltdown-city.” By the time we got home and said goodbye to the Baker’s (who graciously came and watched JD for us–a HUGE thank you to Kristen!!!!!! It was amazing to not have to worry about him crying during the ceremony!) she was sent to her room for a short nap to try and regain some of her composure.
We made sure to take a ton of pictures throughout the day so she’ll be able to remember this forever.
Here are a few picture highlights from the day:
Beautiful pictures!
