Caught in the act!
It appears we might have a thumb sucker on our hands. Just today he’s been intent on sleeping with his thumb in his mouth. When we take it out and put his nuk in, he proceeds to spit it out and put his own thumb back in.
Just more proof that every kid is different…
And speaking of JD, today we put him in a brand new 6 month outfit (a gift–that he promptly pooped out of at church by the way) and it fit perfectly. At this rate he’ll be past 12 month clothes by Christmas!

Yeah, that picture sure takes me back. How could something so cute and seemingly harmless turn into such a battle at, say, age 7? Good luck. But, hey, there are lots worse habits a baby could pick up and that one will serve him well for several years! And I notice it is his left hand. Perhaps that is a sign of things to come, too!
