So we’ve decided that I function best on 10 hours of sleep. Yup, ten. I know that might seem like an enormous amount to some of you, but what can I say? I like my sleep.
Right now I’m getting less than 7.
No wonder I’m having a hard time lately.
Luckily, when I peer over the crib and see JD smiling back at me it somehow doesn’t matter how tired and fuzzy I feel… I’m blessed to have another happy, healthy baby.
It is good to know how much you need and get it when you can. You will probably get used to less as time goes on and as your life, particularly your middle of the night life calms down. I’ll bet you wouldn’t need 10 if you were not disturbed in the middle of them.
