Chloe’s first Operetta

Tonight Tim took Chloe to an operetta presented by students at Northwestern college.  Our pastor’s daughter attends Northwestern and is a music major (and is also on worship team with us) so she invited Chloe a few weeks ago.  It was geared towards kids–I think the story line was a take off of “Hansel and Gretel.”  Anyway, we talked about how much fun she was going to have with Tim and how she had to sit still and listen (and how she wouldn’t be able to dance along).  And she even got to pick out a special outfit and take a bath.  See, doesn’t she look so grown up?

They got home just after I finished teaching tonight and she said she had a really good time.  And Tim said she was quite good and sat nicely for the most part (come on she is still only 3…)  I’m glad he was able to take her to experience it.  They even had cookies and lemonade afterwards!  Fun!

(Oh, and he said the music was good too… hehe)

Edit:  Here’s a picture from last night of Chloe with our pastor’s daughter–who played the role of Hansel.  🙂

She is so sweet I could just eat her up! (Like in Hansel and Gretel…)
