We had a great day yesterday celebrating Chloe’s 4th Birthday. Here were a few highlights from our day:
* Awesome birthday crown (generously loaned to us from her cousin Allison for the day)
* Chocolate Chip Pancakes for breakfast
* Special Birthday Questionnaire
* First day of “Pre-school” with me
* Set up and helped me with the garage sale for the morning
* Made a pink heart shaped cake
* Lots of lovely phone calls and messages (which Chloe just LOVED)
* A trip to the park
* Celebrated turning 4–by having gum and lettuce! She decided a while back that when she turned 4 she would eat lettuce, so that’s just what we had! And now she can have gum, too. 🙂

And, of course, I couldn't find the birthday candles.... so we used matches
She didn't like the enormous amount of smoke that was produced by the matches... haha! The face cracks me up!
Reminds me of the birthday we did that . I think it was Kylene’s. And we used the long matches you use to light the fireplace. They should really sell candles in big boxes, so you never run out and you can’t possibly lose them!
