I finally mowed and pulled all the weeds this week. It’s fun to walk every inch of our yard and realize how much yard we actually have now! I was able to do the whole thing in an hour–which I’m quite pleased about. I’ve been holding off weeding the flower beds until I could clearly see what was a weed and what seems to be “real.” I’m still not 100% sure about everything but it looks a lot tidier now, so I’m happy about that. 🙂
In other news, Chloe only has 3 more days of Preschool left. Isn’t that crazy? It feels like just yesterday that we were living in the rental house taking her picture for the first day of school… It’s been such a great opportunity for her to go there. And the teachers are so wonderful. So, even though it makes my life crazy and hectic trying to get her to and from school and get Josiah up and down from his nap in-between AND teach it’s been great.
I mowed my second yard (117 in New Auburn) yesterday. It was pretty long, so yours must have really been long! Tomorrow I tackle the country plot with the rider. I’d do it today, but Dad hasn’t serviced it yet for the season and I don’t know how to do that. I did learn about dumping the old gas out and putting in new on the push mowers, but I’m not sure how you would go about that on the rider.
