Saturday morning was the highly anticipated “1st Fritz Family 5K.” The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Here is our “before” picture–and I’ll spare you all the running pictures and all the pictures of each of us crossing the finish line all sweaty. But I’ve captured them all for posterity to look back on in the future. 🙂

After that we all made our way back to the Vintage Porch where we enjoyed a few hours of eating and relaxing and letting the kids play in the yard. At one point Krista was playing freeze tag with the kids, then there was 3-legged racing, and a water relay race. Did I mention the weather was great? Yes. It really was.
Later in the day we came back over to our house for a bit of sprinkler fun and then some worship music time. It was so much fun to sing together as a family.
