Writing about all the big & little things

Family Recap (part 1 of 3)

I’m going to condense all my pictures down to 3 posts.  🙂  At least that’s my goal.

Kylene & Justin flew in late Wednesday night so we pretty much said hello and went right to bed.  Thursday morning we went for a nice long walk then enjoyed some down time before the kids went down for naps and K & J went grocery shopping.  Then we met up with Luke & Krista for supper as they came into town and then we spent the evening laughing and eating cake and working on a “schedule” for the weekend.

I was especially excited for L & K to arrive because I had never met their newest addition, Baby Dalton, who is now just about 6 months old.  He needed a bath after the long car ride from PA so I had to snap some adorable bathtime pictures… He is seriously SUCH a happy baby.  So.  Much. Fun.

Friday morning we made our way over to the Vintage Porch (the house we rented in town) and moved all the fragile stuff out of the way and got ready for everyone else to arrive.  Nathan and his family got there mid morning and Mom and Dad closer to supper time.  I didn’t take many pictures the rest of that day since we were all just getting settled.

Here are a few other random pictures though…

Baby Dalton sucks on his middle fingers. I found that amusing and terribly adorable!

I promise I have more pictures of the rest of the family for tomorrow–it just happens that most of my pictures from the first day was of Luke’s family.  Whoops!  So, come back tomorrow for more pictures!  😉

You took some wonderful pictures over the weekend. I haven’t even had time to put mine on the computer, yet. I also am enjoying the ones you sent to the photo frame. They make me miss all the grandkids!
