Friday was Rainbow day at school and they had planned to make some sort of “Roy G Biv” man, but then they ran out of time. So when Chloe came home I told her we could make our very own Roy G Biv man on Saturday. The idea was to have each part of his body a different color. And then she wanted to color each part of the body rainbow colored as well… AND she wanted him to be holding a rainbow.
Gulp.
That’s a lot of details and work, but we forged through.
And… here’s our finished man!
Hey – that is beautiful! And he looks perfectly normal, even though he depicts the rainbow from hat to shoes. And I love that the rainbow is sort of multi-faceted, instead of just curved like you would expect. Adds an artistic flair to it! It is really quite good, but that is what we expect from two artists like you!! Better hang on to that.
Haha! Well, it was the only way to make a curved rainbow out of the scraps of paper I had left–which were all straight! 😉
Erica had a good time “helping” Chloe!
