Josiah is officially 4 years old. We had a small celebration yesterday–nothing spectacular. He did get to have his meal of choice (Mac & Cheese) and also got to pick out special birthday cupcakes. I decided it was safer right now for me not to make an entire batch of cupcakes for me to gorge myself on… and his “real” cake is coming at his combined Birthday party with Chloe later in August. I’ll actually make two cakes for the party–so they each get to have their own. It reminds me so much of having Birthday celebrations at Grandma Fritz’s house. We would always celebrate my Birthday with my Dad’s Birthday and we each got to blow out the candles on our own cake. 🙂 Good memories.
Anyway, here are a few highlights from the day.
