Sweet Chloe
On Christmas Eve I was talking a bit with Chloe and she brought up Jesus living in her heart again. Tim and I have had many discussions about when a child is ready and wanting to make sure that she truly understands. It’s been tough for me to figure out if she really comprehends sin and everything that goes with it. And it always seems that she brings it up when Tim isn’t around, so I’m left scrambling for the “right” answers. At least that’s what it feels like to me.
But Christmas Eve was different. She was asking more probing questions. So I asked her if she was ready to pray to ask Jesus in her heart and, after a few minutes of consideration, she said she was ready.
Hallelujah!
Seriously. What better gift could I ask for?
