Writing about all the big & little things

Another busy week coming up.

This week looks to be another busy one.  I had hoped to start conquering the basement, but I’ve decided that it needs to be pushed off until next week.  I don’t want to start something tomorrow and then have to wait until next Monday to work on it again.

Here’s the breakdown: (and also way more information than you wanted to know, but hey, it’s my blog so I’ll write what I want!  😉  hehe)

Monday ~ my only totally free day at home.  I need to get the house cleaned thoroughly so it will last for the rest of the week.  🙂  I also want to finish painting the front picket fence that I started today.  It’s amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do!

Tuesday ~ teach all day.  This is my only day this week that I really don’t foresee being able to fit a run in–unless I get up very early.  We’ll see how I’m feeling.  Although I do hate to take a day off with the race so close.

Wednesday ~ teach all day, but mostly in the afternoon, so I should be able to get a run in the morning.

Thursday ~ teach in the morning then Chloe & I are heading to Chetek in the afternoon.  That evening I’ll be going to see “Mame” at the Red Barn Theater.  My Mom is the musical director so I’m super excited to see it!  And besides it’s always fun to see my parents again!

Friday ~ we’ll be heading back home (I’m not sure exactly when.  We’re not in any big hurry since Tim will be at work all day.  I do know I want to get up and go for a run sometime that morning before we leave.)  After we get home I’m sure I’ll need to get the laundry done.

Saturday ~ Tim might go boating/tubing for part of the day.  Later in the day I’ll be heading to Shannon’s house again to spend the night there so my drive is shorter to the triathlon the next morning.

Sunday ~ Triathlon day!  I think I need to be there at 6:00ish, but I need to find out exactly yet… either way, its early.  It’s about a 40 min. drive from Shannon’s house which isn’t bad.  Much better than the 1 1/2 hour drive from our house.  🙂  I ran tonight to time myself and also practice not wearing my headset.  I discovered 2 things:  1) I’m slow and 2) I hate running without my headset.  Hehe… At least I still have another week to keep working at it.

Running without your headset during the race will probably be a lot different during the race when there are people around and you’re in a different place than you’re used to running. 🙂

Good luck with your week! Sounds like it’s going to be crazy, but fun!

I don’t like running without my headset either. Time just creeps by. I find that listening to something makes the time go faster. I’m very excited for you for your race!

Sounds like a full week 🙂

We will be getting there about 6:30….at least that’s our plan right now. We hope to have everything packed up and ready the night before.

I am excited to see you again.
