I know this isn’t the best picture (it’s a lot harder than you think to take a picture of your own arm!), but if you look closely, on the left side of my forearm you can see the PUPPS rash. I think it’s amusing how it just stops halfway across my arm…
So far it’s not bothering me too much during the day, but I’ve already noticed it itching a lot more at night–which I remember from last time. I used to have to get up in the middle of the night to reapply anti-itch cream to help me sleep.
In other news, the Honor’s Concert went smashingly well yesterday night. And as a bonus, I ended up not having to drive downtown!!!! I carpooled with another teacher friend and her husband drove. It was such a relief to not have to stress about driving on those one way streets–plus I had someone to talk to the whole time. When we got there the usher chair wasn’t entirely sure what to have all the ushers do and was a little short-handed so I stepped in to help her out and relieve some stress. I find that it’s hard for me to not want to step in and help since I know what’s going on, and she seemed to really appreciate my help. And I was even able to see and congratulate all of my students, which was delightful since I thought I wouldn’t be able to find them in the sea of people.
Hmmm. I probably said this last time, but I wonder if it has anything to do with your having Fifth’s Disease and having it not go away for such a long time, or at least it would sort of come back when you were hot. Maybe your skin is really prone to rashes for some reason.
In case of doubt, when anything is wrong, it can’t hurt to eat 1/2 cup of some sort of beans for breakfast, lunch, and supper. Apparently it helps the liver by causing the bile to be removed from the body better, so you get rid of toxins better. It’s pretty amazing if you read about it.
wow–I never knew that about beans. I’ll definitely give that a try. 🙂
That is interesting about beans. We eat them a lot, but maybe I’ll add them in even more.
Oh Man! If you all are eating beans that often…I bet I can smell you from here….LOL
I hope the bean thing does work for you…I have never heard of it either.
