Visit to see Holly, Cora & Colton

Yesterday Chloe and I traveled over to WI to visit Holly (a high school friend) and her two little ones, Cora and Colton.  Cora is just about 2 years older than Chloe but they played delightfully well.  Colton is just a little bit younger than Chloe and they played fine too, but it was Cora and Chloe that really hit it off.  🙂

I enjoyed getting out.  It’s been a few months since we’ve really had a chance to talk, so it was nice to catch up with Holly.  And it turned out to be an excellent day for Chloe and I to go since Tim worked another side job this weekend. He worked late on Friday night and then all day Saturday.  The weather turned out to be delightful–not terribly hot or cold.  Although by the time I got to Holly’s house it was significantly cooler than when we left and I forgot to bring a coat or sweater so I spent the afternoon cuddled in Chloe’s thomas the train blanket…. hehe 🙂

Chloe rode a “big girl bike” for the first time.  She had a little difficulty with keeping her pedaling going forward–she’s used to pedaling backwards and backing up on her trike, but on a big bike it makes you stop… But she did eventually start to figure it out, so that was fun.
