Well, I’m happy to say that we did go to the beach this morning with the Bakers. Not a rain cloud in sight today–and gorgeous weather. It was really the perfect morning to lounge around at the beach. Unfortunately, I discovered that my maternity swimsuit doesn’t really quite fit anymore (surprise, surprise) so I had to wear a skirt up around my rib cage to keep my belly covered… not the most glamorous, but effective at least. 🙂 We were there for about 2 hours before deciding to pack up and head home (it was starting to get a bit busy by that time anyway). I was afraid I would have a nasty sunburn by the time we left, since I forgot to put sunscreen on, but I seem to be fine tonight (whew!). That’s definitely not something I want to add on to my list of things to deal with in these final weeks of pregnancy!
Tim spent the morning helping our nanny family move stuff into storage since they just recently sold their house and have to be moved out in 2 weeks (and don’t have a place to go yet, I might add… yikes!). So by the time we all got home around lunch time we were all pretty pooped out. So after lunch we all settled in for a nap… 🙂
