We were supposed to get a ton of snow last night but it didn’t actually start snowing until about 5 this morning and it’s still snowing now. It was a bit disappointing to wake up and not see the expected mountain of snow outside, but it’s still very beautiful. And the most important detail here is that it’s NOT beastly cold! It’s actually quite pleasant. In fact Tim is out right now with his snowblower driving around town clearing driveways as I type this.
So, the kids were able to put on their snowpants and grab their shovels and go outside for a while–they really enjoyed it.
Happy to be outside again!

It is a lovely, snowy day, isn’t it? We haven’t gotten over a couple or maybe 3 inches and it seems to be tapering off. Not what we were expecting, but I guess they got more further south.
