Maddie had a wonderful check-up on Friday. She’s healthy and growing, but that’s pretty obvious. We have a very slight bit of eczema to watch and be more careful about putting lotion on, but nothing serious. She is sleeping a solid 8 hours a night now and is in 3-6 month clothes (but more towards the 6 month size). The most exciting thing for me, though, is that she doesn’t need a nuk. She can go to sleep just fine without one but will take a one if she’s hungry too early or just fussy for no reason–so I’m glad we can use it when needed, but that she’s not dependent on them like Josiah was.
(On a side note, the pictures side by side at the top make it look like Maddie doesn’t have any legs… I swear she really does! I’m guessing the 2 months pictures from the others were taken further into two months… )
Now for the side by side comparison of all three kids at their 2 month appointments:

Interesting comparisons. Most are so minimal that they could actually have been a bit of inaccuracy on the part of the nurse. Josiah was definitely heavier though!
